First of all, we’re not as shy as you think. We live in large herds, always keeping an eye out for trouble. And by trouble, I mean leopards, crocodiles, and those sneaky wild dogs. When danger comes sniffing around, we don’t just freeze—we shout. Ever heard an alarm call that sounds like a dog’s bark? That’s us, warning the whole neighbourhood to clear out before things get messy. You’re welcome. Oh, and those majestic antlers the males have? They’re not just for show. When mating season rolls around, it’s an all-out battle. Clashing antlers, wrestling matches—it’s intense. And all for the chance to impress the ladies. Worth it? Absolutely.

Think we’re slow? Think again. We can bolt through a dense forest faster than you can say ‘Oh wow, look at that deer!’ By the way, our spots aren’t just for decoration. They help us blend into the dappled light of the forest. Camouflage level: expert! Not bad eh? We may be herbivores, but don’t underestimate us.
